Performance driving days
Discussion
Dear all
Spent the day at Milbrook today on an AM performance driving day. In one word Superb! And if you will allow me a second word, Amazing.
My instructor, Andy was excellent. He was friendly, informative and a superb teacher. Hard to find one highlight of the day as there were so many. Maybe hitting 154mph on the straight or the handling course. Whatever, I now know what my vantage is capable of and I feel a lot more confident driving it. Andy was able to quickly identify a couple of bad driving habits and then worked with me to start to fix them. This was in between teaching me a lot of new skills as we tested the brakes in the wet, drove at 100mph on the bowl with no hands on the wheel and then hit 130 with hands. Terrifyingly brilliant.
In short if you own an AM and haven't done this course then IMHO you should book now. It is worth every penny.
Best regards
Josh

Am in the process of booking this myself, was a christmas present but have been debating buying a DBS all year and finally took the plunge so will apply the days training to manual DBS rather than Vantage. I met Andy when i was at Millbrook for a Dealer test drive day, was very impressed with him (loonatic) so have requested dates he is free. Cant wait!

I've done it twice. On both occasions I was on a high for three days afterwards. My head was just buzzing, and my mouth was fixed in a permanent grin. The best bit is when the car leaves the road and flies through the air on the Alpine course.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but am doing this on Monday but haven't been given any info. For Millbrook, do you meet at Aston Martin Works Service Centre at Newport Pagnell and then get driven to Millbrook?
This is what I've read but need to confirm.
Speak to Gemma Faulconbridge at Gaydon or I can send forward the docs she sent me if you pm your email address over. This is what I've read but need to confirm.
