Has anyone had a reversing camera fitted on their DB9/DBS/Vantage? I'm interested in one for a Rapide but am worried about where it will be installed on the rear bumper and how it will look.

Does anyone have any pictures?

Thanks.

Don't think it's a std option? Possibly worth talking to Paralight who I believe can integrate them with the Aston electronics system.

It's a retrofit on any new (DB9 etc) and can be fitted at the Newport Pagnell service HQ.

I had Works Service fit the front and rear cameras on my Vanquish S. The installation is very neat, a small hole is drilled in the rear bumper and the front is under the number plate holder. You can see the rear one but it looks a bit like a reversing sensor, it's certainly not an eyesore.

You can cycle them between wide angle, normal and vertically down views, and the front can also show a split screen with 90 degrees left and right, handy if you are nosing out of a blind alleyway for instance.

The front one has already paid for itself on the Vanquish in terms of keeping the front splitter intact when parking.biggrin
