hi everyone,

I am thinking of getting a DB9 and I want to know if it will fit in my rather narrow garage.

the AM site says the width is 74"

but does this include the door mirrors ?

another site states 73" (exc mirrors)

does anyone know, or could someone please measure their car to see, what the width is.

The door way is 84" (heres hoping)

I presume there is ample room once inside to open the (large) doors?

I remember pacing around a DB7 GT trying to work out if it would fit in the garage. The 7 did; but I had to carpet the garage walls and develop a PAPI precision approach system to allow me to park safely.

I have double doors fitted on the right hand side,
so I open them first then drive in to get out of my current car (porsche 911) then close the double doors.

sorted.

The mirrors do fold, but I need them to get into my garage in reverse. The garage door is less than a foot wider in total than the DB9 including mirrors. The interior is much wider.

I have a triple garage but the two outer ones each have narrow doors. I have about an inch on either side of the mirrors. But that's no problem. I have no problem as I've lots of experience of guiding large objects in to small slots....

I usually reverse in using the mirrors to guide. If I get it a fraction wrong, you can fold the mirrors for the moment that you pass the threshold.

I don't have to go in backwards; I just enjoy that more.
