V8V fuel

Simple question - does the V8V need to run off 98RON (ie Shell V-Power type fuel) all the time or does it run off ordinary 95RON. Or can you mix them with some drop in performance?

Fine on 95 and / or 98RON

I have always run my other cars on 98 to "treat it right"
However the V8VR has so far been fine on 95, I must give it a "treat" and see how much of a difference it makes!

its designed to make its 380bhp and rated on 95 RON fuel ...anything else is a bonus ..I think there is some leeway to allow for differences in engines and fuel, so an individual engine could be 375-385bhp on 95

either way you really have to run a bit throught it at various throttle openings/driving styles before its going to adjust much

personally just run it on whatever the best stuff is they have at wherever is convenient for me to stop; 97, 98, 99 etc ...but I dont pay for my fuel so no incentive to do otherwise
