DB9 garage opener - retro fit

Hi
I understand that the auto dimming mirror has the garage/gate opener included and that to have this as an option at construction it is less than £200.

Unfortunately my car is not specced with this option.

Does anyone know if this can be retrofitted at a reasonable cost?

My 2007 DB9 was done by Works Service. Cost £500 ish !

I think mine has the mirror but where and at what cost would the garage receiver be available?

I have the auto-dimming mirror,but no evidence of a built-in garage door opener. I keep mine in the little leather strap in teh driver's door pocket.

I have the auto-dimming mirror with the garage door opener - works a treat.
As an option when new it is not that much and easily lost in the scale of the overall invoice.
I guess as a retro fit you have to weigh the cost of fitting against the convenience of not having to carry a remote fob in the car somewhere.

My problem was that Works Service quoted £200 odd and when I was presented with the invoice circa £500 said 'Ah we quoted for the part not the labour to fit it'.
I hasten to add that we did not fall out over it, we came to 'an agreement'
