trackday pads on V8V?
Discussion
can anyone help in choosing the right trackday brake pads? The OE were shot after an afternoon trackday at Spa...
I was thinking about ferodo DS2000 or even DS2500 ...
Or will they invaldidate the warranty I still have on my V8VR 4.3 ?
Other question: will I invalidate the warranty if I go to independant dealer for my 3 year-10.000 mile service? There is only one Aston dealer service point in Belgium where I live...! Any advice more than welcome

Pagid RS14 are what most of the racers use
Id choose Pagid RS42 for road (blue)
OE pads are Pagid RS4-2-2 (black)
be aware that if you change from OE pads, you wont have wear sensors - you will need to jury rig some sensor blanks out of some old plugs to switch the warning light off ...I did this on my old car, very easy, just used an old set of sensor wires (not cheap though)
if you are on track every weekend then its likely worth your while
if you do a couple of days a year, Id just manage with OE pads ...they are not *that* bad...certainly way better than what comes OE on most non track cars
under EU ruling, you can use an indy to service, they must follow the schedule and use AM parts though ....
