Avon ZZ3 Tyres on DB7 Rear??
Discussion
Anyone ever tried these tyres on the Rear of a DB7, pref the V12 models? or any Aston for that matter?
The tread pattern is pretty close to the S-02's, they are directional like the S-02, although I think the rubber might be a slightly softer compound, which I hope will give more grip on corners.
I never feel 100% confident with the S-02's and have had them slip out on several occasions. The compound seems quite hard on the S-02.
It seems they only offer one tyre in the correct size for the GT which is 265/35/18 and this is the XL version which is an extra load / reinforced tyre.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for that LBS :-)
I want the extra grip if possible, and I am not looking for these to last much past the summer, as then I'd put S-02's back on in time for winter.
I also think with my current rear S-02's being right close to the wear indicator they are probably harder than when new.
I just don't have confidence in them..
I might try the ZZ3's and either with those or the S-02's next time around.. have the car geometry reset and all wheels re-aligned.
