I found this really interesting info source...it's called the owner's manual. Maybe you've heard of it?

60 ft-lbs first pass
100 ft-lbs second pass

Is correct

Would be interesting to know What the super cheap Kwick fit are torqueing them to.
Some young lad fitting tyres to my Aston , breaking the tyre pressure montioring system, not compeletly getting all the Air out ,for Nitrogen fill , and then the torque settings.

Hmm for a few quid more i think i will let the dealer sort mine out.

wheel nut torques were revised a while ago so the book may not be accurate .

I believe there is also a different torque required for steel nuts and titanium nuts. I'm sure Rick could confirm.

And by the way, regardless of what the 'book' says or any other source for that matter, I would never torque the wheel nuts beyond 80 to 85 ft-lbs.

You wanna' torque to 100 or 130, be my guest, but 85 is more than enough. Those very high numbers are for the CYA lawyers.

Wheel nuts should be tightened in two stages and no lubricate should be applied, first stage 80nm (60 lb ft)  tightening every second nut in a continuous motion until all five are tight, I would also recommend lifting the wheel just to take some of the weight but not actually lifting the tyre off the floor, second stage 135nm (100 ib ft) again every second nut in a continuous motion untill all five are done, road test and recheck,

That's accurate - good explanation. 60lb ft on first nut sufficient.

all nuts are tightened twice to the first value and then again to the second value,
