I'm sure you will be forgiven if you actually buy an Aston Martin in the sale! It's a perfect day so top down and here we go!biggrin

Just back after an early start, what a lovely day to be in a contraflow.

And to the Blackpool City fans on the way to Wembley ("YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A NEW ONE" was the chant to my 89 Vantage Volante!), good luck even though you knocked out The Mighty Forest Twice European Champions When You Had To Be Champions to Take Part FC.

Just got home (and even before the bidding started on the cars - but I wasn't buying one anyway!) Great day and some fantastic sights. Spent quite some time just sitting watching the continuous parade of Aston Martins of all eras go by. The parking lot was full to bursting and not a single soft-top violation to be seen (in fact didn't see a single convertible of any make of car without its top down today!)

We arrived early but left at noon to head to silverstone for the racing. Lovely cars at both events, and a shame I had to choose between the two. But seeing the Dave Ellis Gt900R race will always win over an auction where the cars will be restored and never be seen again
