A few weeks ago I had a few things done by AM works. Just managed to get the pictures taken.

1. Re-covered steering wheel in alcantara with matching Silver stitching
2. Chrome rear inserts between the lights (click on thumb shot for other related photo's

Let me know your thoughts............

Steering wheel is nice, not so keen on the chrome inserts, personally.

WOW ! I really like the alcantara steering wheel. Have you thought about adding sport cats/ rear box. Or the new light weight wheels ? I wonder how much lighter the light weight wheels are or if they would make any noticeable difference, same with the sport cats/ Rear box. Maybe the combination of all would make a difference. I believe quicksilver claim a 45 or so pound weight reduction with their titanium rear box. So that with the sport cats with light weight wheels could make a noticeable change. Was just curious. Of course its not like that DBS needs anything more..! Cheers

Love the steering wheel! The chrome inserts belong on an Esclade IMO.

Is it rude to ask a gentleman what it cost to have the steering wheel covered like that...I wouldn't mind having mine done ?

Its expensive due to the stitching and time required to take the wheel off! around £1000

They replaced a ball-bearing in the clutch assembly, which they said was rusty - however, they also emailed me this official reponse from Aston Martin Works:

So pretty much "they all do that Sir".

However, I have noticed, that my squeak is less frequent now after 3000 miles so something could suggest, that either my hearing has degraded or it is actually getting better the more mileage you put in.
