Unfortunately tomorrow is an incentive day put on by the local dealer but we get to play in lots of Astons. That said, the dear wifey did buy me the Instruction day for xmas, just need to get round and book it!

Hi Rob,I hope to be with you in the morning, you might remember we did the same factory tour a bit back,I got the toro
red 4.7 same time you got your black one.Read your thread about your sills and lights and hope to see them tomorrow if you take the aston.Iam undecided whether to bring the aston or turn up in the rangie .

Ed - great to see you, let me know if you are up for the PDC, keen to book, just dont know whether it will be a DBS or the V8....

Ariel - sorry i didnt reply was offline for 24 hours, were you there in the morning or afternoon?

Was a superb day out. Thought the capabilities of the Rapide are simply amazing, even heard a couple of the instructors getting very excited about it in a corner of the room. Loved the Alpine circuit, was lucky to take both the DBS Coupe and Volante round aswell as the Vantage. The V12 was something else on the mile straight! Finished up with a great drive home! Oh and cant believe I randomly had lunch with Willie Carson!

Only downside is my DBS itch just got much much worse!

Hi Rob,Was a great day and it was nice to see you again, found driving home on the A1 like being in slow motion after
the high speed alpine run that I was treated too, still grinning this morning although I must admit I think the driver
was some sort of mentalist, but what a skill, truely amazing.Interested in the PDC but think it would have to be end of July onward as i am away at the end of June for a while.Going to give the AMOC some thought regarding meets and events.Dont forget to get the SP from father on the jockey ,I bet he'd like to have met him....
Must try to get the same factory tour organised again but I surpose that would be straight forward if we get those
respective itchs scratched by m'lady....,think my itch may be turning in to a rash what seems a very expensive rash.

well that wa quite a treat wasn't it. I was there in the afternoon, certainly AM do it all so nicely and everyone is so friendly as well as professional. I managed to talk myelf in to a passenger ride on the hill course in the V12 Vantage. WOW, jut WOW. Seeing a professional driver do his stuff is always impressive isn't it. Passenger ride in the Vantage on the handling circuit another highlight to show how capable the V8 is.

I too was impressed by the Rapide as a car, the adaptive ride is excellent and allows the car to be much more than you think possible. Not so sure on the interior tho as supplied.

Now should I do the HPC day? Tempted esp in the v12.
