Irritating chip
Discussion
Can't believe it took until now to happen, but I removed my seat belt last night and in the course of retracting itself it decided to take a bite out of the internal door bar. Metal on metal and now there is a 2mm spot with no paint. Annoying as it's grey carbon and underneath basically white, so it shows
Can't imagine I'm the first to have this problem. Is there a touch up paint which will disguise it enough for me not to mutter under my breath every time I open the door, or does it have to be resprayed/replaced ?

I wonder how much new parts are too?
if its anything like the sill covers, they are near consumable items...especially it seems if you have passengers with heels
but they are not so expensive - about £80 IIRC to replace with new ones ...certainly not worth someones time at a bodyshop
my drivers door handle/bar bit is chipped quite a few times from the seat belt, ive been waiting for it to get bad enough to replace...may have to find out soon how much it is, and when I get a new one, a strip of armourfend on it could prove useful
