Next question - centre console rattle
Discussion
I've already got a lot of stuff sorted on my V8V since I bought it. Next on my list is a rattle coming from inside the center console which sounds like something plastic jiggling up and down (imagine a plastic pellet inside a plastic tube). It occurs on all but the smoothest roads.
How much of a nightmare is it to get into the centre console (behind the stereo) to take a look?
The car was generally in very good condition when I bought it but by the time I've finished with it, it will be better than new

I had exactly the same problem with mine a few months back! How much of a nightmare is it to get into the centre console (behind the stereo) to take a look?

Thought it'd be a horrendous problem to fix but my local dealer sorted it quickly (and at no charge).
It's almost certainly the thin panel that is directly under the windscreen (running from the centre console round to the A-pillar).
Mine was on the passenger side and the source of the rattling only became apparent when a friend starting pressing down on various spots on his side (the only place I hadn't been able to reach when it occurred alone!)
If it's not too far a drive for you, a great alternative to your local dealer would be Rick @ DMS.
