Thinking of buying a DB9 Volante for the summer but would like to know how usable the back seats are. I have two children of 4 and 2. Can i use the car to take us all out? Also would be spending about 60k is there anything i should be looking out for on the car. Any pitfalls to be aware of.
I have a 4 and a 2 year old and had a DBS Vol +2 for the weekend and there is no way they could fit and me drive (also 6 2), we tried the Maxi Cosi Rodi (smallest group 2 seat I think) and with that in there just was no leg room. You can forget any of the group 1 seats for the 2 year old, you have no chance with one of those. Without a seat then they may have been able to fit, but then that is illegal! I have struck it off the list of cars could have useable rear seats for the sprogs. If we did squeeze them in then they would just go mad, and not appreciate it.
Went to Stratstones at Wilmslow at the weekend to see for my self if i could fit the family in a DB9 Volante. The answer is most def no. Could not even get the car seat in behind my drivers seat. Very very very disapointed as i had decided that i was going to have one. So next question what do i buy instead? Any ideas much apreciated.

Rapide? i'm 6ft + and fit quite well in the back.I have a MaxiCosi Rodi behind hte passenger seat for my four year old. My wife can sit in front of him without complaint. If we take the one year old too, he has to go behind me in a Britax Duofit. He has to cross his legs and I have to move my seat forward, push the steering column in as far as it goes and drive with my knees up.
In a year or so, I think I'll be looking at Rapides.
