No doubt this thread has been done a hundred times already.

When I bought my Vantage I just paid the extra with my current insurer (Direct Line) now its renewal time I'm looking at moving as they have come back with quite a high price for the next 12 months. So who do you use? Less than 5k miles a year, car has an active Tracker Horizon and is kept garaged at night and I have 9+ years NCB.

Thanks

(apologies for the spelling error in the title)

I use Aviva through the AA - they were reasonable

If you are an AMOC member it may be worth checking with them first though as it may be cheaper

Use Bell for mine, came out cheapest on the price comparison sites. Have English call centres as well

AMOC recommend Locktons. I was with Direct Line at first. The switch to Locktons almost halved my bill (and it includes trackday cover).

I use Aviva Prestige or Premier whatever its called, moved from Admiral, v good price after quite a bit of negotiation. Adrian Flux advertised on here were also extremely competitive, using Royal Sun Alliance.

Lockton through AMOC for me (Chubb is the underwriter). Not quite the cheapest but the track day cover and being able to add other drivers over the phone makes it the best fit.

I use Adrain Flux for both our cars. The cover seems good and very competative priced.

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Locktons were way off the mark for me.

Went with Aviva, they currently have a 12 months for the price of 10 offer:
Myself and wife insured (mid/late late 30's)
We both have no convictions and 9+ years NCB
6000 mile a year policy
Garaged
Social and commuting
Garaged
Legal cover
Protected NCB
£250 Voluntary Excess
£250 Compulsory Excess

£379 biggrin

I even did not even have to declare the Tracker.

I have just changed my 08 Vantage for a DBS. For 2 years I was with Aviva but they could not compete with the AMOC, Locktons quote on the DBS in terms of price, excess or a guaranteed value. I guess every quote is different. From my experience to date both Companies here are good.
