I need to replace a rear speed sensor as the abs light is showing on the dash.
The sensor can be twisted in position but it refuses to pull out.
Any advice on how to complete the job.

Will I need to flop the rear hub forward and tap out the sensor if it breaks or is there a technique to this job.

Hope someone can help before MOT time.

Failed MOT on Friday morning

The identified sensor was stuck and I tried for an hour on Saturday to remove it by twisting it- no luck.
I then went down to local Jaguar dealer to buy a new sensor but the abs light went out as normal. Must have disturbed something that has cured the problem.
Also changed a broken drop link that MOT spotted.

Anyway, fresh MOT on Monday.
