Hi,

I really love the more agressive appearance of the V12 Vantage.

Does anybody know if the V12 front, rear bumper and side skirts will fit on a V8 Vantage?

If yes, any info on the pricing?

Thanks,

Christof

I think you can buy the front spoiler and rear diffuser as accessories from AM - they are on the DMS website I think...and not too expensive....for a couple of grand each you can make your V8 look like a V12 smile

You can have my V12 Vantage badge as I have removed it from the rear - and then you are almost there!

well let me see...a V8 engined car, tricked up and lightweight bits ....so its an "RS" or "GT" version maybe?

Im sure a 4.7V8, breathed on a bit, will be near as fast as a V12V if they can shave some more weight off with lightweight bits smile

There is a genuine kit for the V8 Vantage which is a front carbon fibre splitter and rear carbon fibre diffuser, The price of the kit is £2429.82 including vat but then it would require fitting, you could also fit the n400 sills which seem popular,

pictures of the diffuser splitter kit can be found here http://www.astonmartin.com/eng/thecars/accessories...

Just had mine fitted today and picked the car up this evening. It really finishes the car off and makes the rear much tidier and the lines flow much better.

I will take some photos over the next few days and post here.

Cheers,
Ian

You don't know me at all, so please stop this attitude to me and the reason behind my thread!!!

Seems that Aston Martin is understanding their customers better with offering N400 sills, carbon upgrades for bumpers and it seems that there is some kind of new V8 Vantage in the pipeline.

christof, I think the point being made is that making your V8 look like a V12 is similar to putting an M3 badge on a 316i or, in a fairly recent post, making a DB9 look like a DBS. It's your car so do as you please but be prepared for flack.

The options pictured above are specifically for the V8 so there's no cross-dressing intended wink

Rear looking very very nice, front is nice as well.
My car is Meteroite Grey, so the carbon won't be very visible.

Understood, but in this case I would do the bonnet and rear hatch as well.
I simply like the more agressive look of the bumpers and it seems that no one is flamed for putting N400 sills to standard Vantage only for the reason that AM is offering these as a retrofit. Let's wait what new V8 special editon is in the pipeline and some time later these body parts will be offered as a retrofit for existing modells as well for one simple reason, AM needs cash.

As long as I put no Mansory kit on my Vantage I'll be fine :-)

at the risk of being 'controversial' i have to say that i like the look of the v8v in standard guise. fancy bumpers, sills and those awful extra bonnet grilles do nothing for me, it's a great looking car in the nude!

+1 thumbup I'd try, to make my V12V (wich I don't own, sadly) look like the V8V as, IMHO, the nude, original V8V is such a nice, clean, design one can hardly better. The N400 sills are a very nice approach, but they are as good as one can get. IMHO of course...
