V8V - Dealer prices/anyone planning on selling soon?
Discussion
I know it's against the rules to post adverts on here... apologies if the same goes for "wanteds". But there is a genuine question, too!
Firstly - anybody know if the line that Stratstone are taking on used cars at the moment of "the sticker price is non-negotiable - that's why they're well priced" is in any way flexible? They do seem to be turning over stock VERY fast. Anybody had any joy there?
Also (apologies again!)... If anybody is planning on selling a 2006/2007 car anytime soon - very preferably '07 model, in meteorite silver/red/black/something other than a mercury/tungsten silver/dark blue/green (sorry!), and with a good spec list (PDC-nav-powerfold mirrors-uprated stereo-bright grille), feel free to drop me a line if you want a particularly painless sale. Preferably no kestrel tan leather interiors.
Cheers all!

Hi
I've got a 2007 model in Slate blue with cream interior, looks superb.
Just had a change in circumstances and am now looking to sell the car.
It also has 18months Aston Martin Warranty remaining and is in excellent condition.
Car had done 10,000 with full service history, last service Dec '09.
If your interested, please contact me on rcmorgan@lineone.net.
Cheers
Rich

Stratstone tend to day that but one way i got around when i purchased my V8V was have things included in the deal. Free major service, couple of tyres replaced, car cover etc
At the time i bought it was the best priced car out there and when i came to sell it after 9 months, i only lost 1.5k. Which in my book is not bad
Hope that helps

Whats wrong with Kestrel!! Looks great in combination with Tungsten
I'll be honest and own up not to having seen kestrel tan in the flesh. But in all the photos it looks about the shade of particularly unpleasant diarrhoea. If that's just people using flash on their cameras and bringing out too much saturation/brightness, and it's actually a bit duller than that, I can imagine it'd work quite nicely with black, maybe.Hmmm, anybody know of any *decent* pics portraying what it really looks like?

Cheers! I was wondering about that - had a natter with them and they point blank refused to extend the warranty to two years saying that would have to get put through the books as there's a cost, and then show up as a discount.Did try the free service one on, too - but I asked them about it being covered when it next came due. Did you have the extra service done before collection, or keep it in waiting for the next time?
