Don't know the car myself, but it looks to be either Aston Green (Different to the modern Aston Martin RACING Green) or Zagato green. Don't quote me though! Try the AMOC to see if it on their register.

It's one of the Sanction 2 DB4 GT Zagato. Chassis built by RS Williams, body by zagato in Italy. Then the car was shipped back to RS Williams to have the body panels rectified and fitted to a higher standard.

The cars were all pre sold and not been seen together sicne 1991.

I'll try and find the exact colour they were painted and let you know.

Hi

The Zagato is a special colour that the RSW lightweight DB4s were painted and also the Sanction II and Sanction III Zagatos.

It's called RSW green

I have it on authority from the man who painted the car that it is in fact Ford Forest Green. Case closed.

Why ask if you already know?

Its not unusual that Aston use Ford colours: often during restoration the car will be painted any car colour, depending on taste.

The RSW Green maybe a modified Ford colour: I have seen all the cars, and the paint is very deep and slightly metalic.

I, however, would never make a serious statement about this vehicle's colour, unless I've driven it from Grenoble to Madonna di Campiglio on a sunny dry day, using all ffwd. gears and the entire rev range
I thank you.
