Does anyone have a photo of their DBS with the +2 "seats" option that they can post ?

Have searched previous threads and whilst the idea has been much dismissed ...., I couldn't find any posts including pictures.

Thanks in advance.

I will try for you today, car is under cover in garage and its raining!! The +2 is perfect for me. I have a 6 yr old daughter and the back seat behind passenger is perfect for her (no booster though). There is no space behind the driver seat.

Thanks Stickshifter.

You've anticipated next question ... however, does that imply that family remains at +1 if the driver's seat is fully back ?

yep...sorry not had chance to get to car to take photo....yes it is +1 and luckily I have one child and a petite wife....so all in all is it perfect for us as it allows us to all go out in it on occasions which does make a difference.

... the plan [I'm told ...] is 1 then 2, therefore, there's a finite period when the DBS would work ..

Cheers !

I had a DBS Vol with +2 at the weekend, I have two Maxicosi Rodi SPS seats (as small as they come) ready to pop in the back and head out with the kids (2 and 4) for a drive, but there is no way they could fit with the kids in and me still drive (I actually have legs) and a mate (also with legs) could sit in the passenger seat. Wife (she also has some legs) has agreed to a DBS if we can all go out in it, but it is very much looking like that cannot happen any more. So now I need to work on another angle to get the V12V that I really want, but I cannot think of an excuse to get home front approval, "why do you need a faster version of your already fast car?!". No a Rapide would not do it for me personally.

Fantastic car tho, much more aggressive than the V8V...bit shouty with all the fins and carbon bits...but still very sweet!

Legs ... hmmm .... yep ... I too have some of those as well.

I think that taking counsel from those with experience, the DBS isn't going to work as a 2+2 where the full "2" is required. I also don't feel as though the Rapide is the correct direction.

It does leave a dilema ... albeit (large reality check here ... teacher ) a very nice dilema to be facing !

I did have an eye on the California, however, after seeing the "+2" ... I realised that it refered to jackets .... not kids.

612 anyone ?

Plans never work out. Assume you'll have triplets and will need a minivan as a second car anyway, so get what you want as your primary car.

It will be exactly the same in the aback as a DB9, so it's plus one small child behind the passenger and one smaller child up to about two years old behind the driver.

Yup, same situ I am in. Have a very fast beemer estate for usual family duties (that it does exceptionally well), but want a 'me' car that we all can go out in from time to time. Been there, seen it, done it, dont want to go back, with the 911, the GTR is fantastic but does not tick some boxes that I need, Granturismo, 612, Rapide is too big for 'me'. Was hoping a DBS would work...but no..so stuck..oh well, will have to stay with a Vantage for me...hard life...want an M3 Estate for family duties...but they dont do one..(had an M5 already did not work for us)...sniffing at a XKR Touring when they come out...or...maybe a GTR for family duties...but if I did go there would I ever bother taking the Vantage out..
