Had a Quick silver exhaust fitted by dealer. Soon after the engine man light came on. They have fitted new oxy sensor but not found fault yet, stating that it could be a number of other faults.Strange how it was perfect before the exhaust was fitted.Did mention the vacum pipes to check, but what do i know.Just hope there are no hidden costs.

Get an OBD scanner to learn the reason your warning light.

The new exhaust must be sealed using a paste. A leak can trip the O2 sensors that are fore and aft of the catalytic converters. It could be you just have a leak, or a damaged sensor or damaged sensor lead. I'd guess at a leak. Its a easy fix (in Aston Martin terms).

Sorry to butt in, but I have a similar warning light on on a 2002 DB7 V12. I have an OBD scanner but couldn't find anywhere to plug it in? Can anyone help please?

Brilliant. I wondered what was behind there but was being too gentle. Many thanks. smile

Just pull down the top edge of the passenger knee panel - it has spring clips over a horizontal bar holding it on place. There are two connectors. You want the one for 'Powertrain'. It is the lower of two, up in the top left hand corner, where the passengers left knee would be.
