Hello,

Can anyone recommend me insurance company or broker that will quote for a new policy but take into account existing NCB on a current policy. New policy would also be limited mileage.

Thanks

I use a multi car policy with Footman James.

Not quite what you're asking, but would be worth looking at IMO. The guy I talk to there is Warren Cooke. Very good service.

If you are using your NCB on another existing car then i dont think it possible even through multicar policies (dont understand why you cant do use the same on 2 cars).

Just changed mine over through AON Private Clients although was very close to using Adrian Flux, both very competitive. Having used Admiral Multicar for the last year for both the Aston and a BMW (was up to 3yrs and 1yr), i found it considerably cheaper to swap the NCB around and use the 3yrs one on the Aston. Nothing wrong with doing that. If anyone can point me at a better solution or explain the logic of not using the same NCB on 2 cars, be great to hear!

Personally always refused to discuss business with insurance companies who did not automatically ante up NCB, when I added cars. The fact is that if you have a claim on any car it generally affects all the others. On that basis NCB should follow the driver, not the car. I now have a multi car policy which means I know exactly where I stand and can add or subtract cars without having to mess around transferring discounts to achieve the optimal solution.

Good luck shopping around, but from experience centralisation is the way to go, and renewal is a dream - only one conversation per year.
