Looking at maybe getting an early DB9 in the next few months but have a few queries:

What are the service intervals and costs?

Can you fit a child seat in the back?(20 month old daughter)

Are there any known faults to look out for?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Yes, you can fit a child seat, but you need to shop around to find one that will fit. I have MaxiCosi Rodi XR. It just about fits.

Service intervals are 1 year and having owned a db9 for five years my experience is, that as long as the car has a full AM service history there is nothing special to look out for. Look at the bodywork as the front-end is prone to stone chipping and if there are dents or scratches these are quite expensive to repair. Wheels can be easily refurbished so not a mayor issue. High mileage not really an issue either as the V12 and the touchtronic gearbox hardly work overtime.

You can ask for the history,ie warranty history.

See if it has had it's oil cooler pipes replaced.

this might sound daft, but make sure it drives straight , huge problem with the roads not only knocking the alginment out but also buckling wheels(check for bad vibration).
Also check for radio reception.
