Just wondered because it feels as though its spinning just the inside wheel when i pull out of my drive on cold tyres and wet road.

My Chim spins both wheels in the same situation and i know that has a LSD fitted.

Is the TC light flashing on the dash - Traction Control - bit more modern than a Chim wink

Haha, asked for that didn't i. tongue out.

I didn't notice the TC light to be honest, the wheelspin was minor but definitely there, maybe it wasn't severe enough for the TC to cut in.

Doesn't take a lot in the wet to get it to kick in - but not a huge light on the dashboard - just a little sign in amongst the clocks.

Enough to still get the tail to slide though!

and this spec for a 4.7 on astonmartin.com:

"Transmission
Rear mid-mounted six speed manual gearbox. Alloy torque tube with carbon fibre propeller shaft. Limited slip differential. Final Drive Ratio 3.909:1"

Anybody confirm that the earlier 4.3 had an LSD also??

yes there is one, but yes there is also a bit of leeway in the nannying TC system, so you can actually get a bit of slip on without it cutting in smile

Yes, I think the TC is pretty well judged: enough to help out on a rainy diesel spill but not so much that a wet roundabout isn't fun. smile
