Some nice footage, slowmo drifts are always a winner for me. Interesting to see Mr Harris saying he preferred the DBS to the V12V, that is the first time I have heard that. Is quite an eye opener how far the DBS is back from the standing start, I bet it would struggle with those two even in the dry. I know most of us here would have the DBS over the others, but makes good watching for a wet Friday arvo.

This was a really interesting test - you MUST see both parts (and also the one where Harris gets a lift in a 997 GT3RS Gen 2 from a Francois Delecour.)I am beginning to like Chris Harris's work. The fact that he favoured the Aston didn't do any harm, but he was fair to all the cars.
His conclusion was that the DBS was the best in the GT role - but I was surprised to hear him say, without qualification, that the DBS was a better sorted car than the V12V, and he preferred it. Not 'as a GT', just 'preferred it.'
I do wonder about that, but then I'm unlikely ever to be in a position to argue the point with any knowledge!

I think what's important here is that particular DBS has done almost half its 25,000 miles being hammered around a track and has already had approx 400 people drive it.
Chris Harris says it feels tight in this video which is amazing given the hard use its had. Pretty much a tribute to Aston's build quality and is still the most popular and requested supercar on the 6th Gear fleet over and above the Ferrari 599 and LP640
