Yaw Rate Sensor

Hi,
anyone had an issue with this on V8 Vantage (2006). DSC light on (second time I've had that particular one on). In at dealer just now - £400 to replace. Presume fair enough but friend thought it seemed a bit hefty for a sensor fault. Search on here and AMOC yielded no results or further info.

Had hoped I was getting a break from things going faulty with it this year but not to be.

Hi have you had tracking or suspension related work recently, as usually a calibration issue, not very often these fail to be honest,

thanks Rick, nothing like that been done recently - car barely been used over past few months because of snow. Maybe thats the problem and its seized up.
Shall just need to suck it up and make sure the new sensor does more yaw rate measuring
