Had my V8V serviced 3 weeks ago. Last week I jumped in the car, turned the ignition on and a message appeared "Service now due" or similar. I argued with the car for a while, but it wouldn't budge on insisting I service it.
Any idea how I get rid of this message, short of driving back to the dealer or thrashing the car with a bush, a-la Basil Fawlty.

speak to your dealer or specialist who carried out the service as part of the service is to reset this, so really down to them to sort out,

this is the bit where customer service should be above and beyond what you expect, for what ever reason the warning has now been displayed, as in not reset, software glitch (it does happen) or just plain who knows, you obviously think you will have to take it in to be reset, This should not be the case and most dealers or specialists will gladly put you first and fix this issue at no inconvenience to yourself, honestly it is not to much to ask as you have paid to have this done,
