not much judging by the complaints about it LOL wink

...but, Ive never seen a V8 Vantage without yet ....so it had better be cheaper, as it will be harder to move on ...in a market of well specced cars, if you have a few to choose from when buying, all identical except one doesnt have sat nav, most people will discount the one without sat nav as "lower spec" frown

I have one of the rare V8Vs without Sat Nav, and judging by the complaints I'm not missing anything. Instead, I have a small discrete piece of valcro just above below the central air vents to which I stick my iPhone (which has a piece of valcro on the back of it also). And then I use the SatNav application on the iPhone, which is light years better than the stock AM version. It also enables me to have traffic camera alerts - an absolute must!

I test drove a DB9 volante at HWM last year, at c. £57K IIRC. It did not have a satnav, and was definitely c. £2-3K cheaper than equivalent models as a result. It did also have very light coloured leather interior (parchment??) which was not the usual black/grey, so maybe that too accounted for some of the discount.

Judging by the likely rarity of one without a SatNav..perhaps a premium is in order? ;-)
It is a pity AM have not got this sorted yet.

As stated in other threads, they have....... or at least, it's not as bad as it was. TBH, I haven't been let down by mine yet (2008 car).

Is it a well spec'ed car apart from the SatNav? Or is it just a poverty spec car anyway? If I was to replace mine and there was a well spec'ed car minus the SatNav it would not stop me buying it as I use a phone with SatNav anyway.

Mine was a keeper when I ordered it, so no Sat Nav for me, also that means a cleaner dash with no hole cut out and no rattly screen. I also have a nice discreet iphone mount by the drivers side vent for the rare times when I need a computer to tell me which way to go. I would expect tho that 'potentially' I may have to take less for my car but what is a few ££ over the 40k or so I have already lost. I know for sure if I was in the market, I would be looking for a nice opted car with no Nav. 19's, HID and Premium Audio tho are a must..
