squealing brakes on amv8
Discussion
daft question - my brakes occasionally squeal at low speed, tried the harder braking technique (find a good stretch of road and brake heavier) which does reduce it and I think if I continue will probably do so - but whats the easy fix I read people talking about - there does seem to be a lot said about this - but I'm still none the wiser?
okay firstly are your brakes standard, and secondly is your car still under warranty,
removing the pads and cleaning with abrasive paper if they are glazed will help, there is also a modification that a extra backing pad is fitted to the rear of the pad this is the dealer fix carried out under warranty, the backing pads are quite cheap and easy to fit,

hiya, they are standard fitting and yep still under warranty - I'll give them a call in the morning to arrange booking it in - just wanted to check with you guys before making a numpty of myself - get a tad confusing when you read, hear so many opinions
thanks for the advice - muchly appreciated
