Help,

My battery conditioner when first used had a green light, now when i plug it in there is a red light and its started to make a pulse noise, has anyone else had the same problem.

IIRC the green light suggests that your battery is fully charged. Orange I think means that the conditioner is charging the battery. Red light sounds like a potential fault, I have never heard he pulsing you mention.
Sorry.

The battery conditioner is an AM-branded version of a CTEK unit - based on appearance, I suspect it is an XS800.

Might be worth looking at the manual to see if that helps ...

It could be that the charger thinks your battery may be faulty. Could that be possible?

Mine has a red light to indicate if its in 12v or 6v mode. And a seperate light which is red if battery is flat, amber if its charging or green if its fully charged. no pulsing here either.

My charger (came with my 2007 V8 Vantage) wouldn't turn green and made a pulsing sound last winter so I took it to the dealer and they replaced it as being faulty. Car was fine.
