Last week the “Bulb failure Left turn indicator” warning came on the dash of my out of warranty Vantage and then a day later I noticed that the LED strip on my right front headlight was not coming on. I am not sure if both problems occurred on the same day or not. Has anyone here seen this before?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Here is the rear with the light switch in the 2nd position

Here is the rear with the light switch in the 2nd position and the left indicator on....notice the faint blink

Here is a pic of the front right headlamp with the LED strip not lit.

Have you checked the handbook for which fuses cover which lights? I'd suspect a blown fuse and/or

- a dodgy relay
- water ingress in the rear light cluster (perhaps causing a short and busted fuses/relay?)

Rick's the man with answers though and am sure he'll be along soon.

Thanks for your input and kind words smile Upon closer inspection I see some condensation in the rear light housing so I think it was the moisture that caused the failure of my rear taillight. In addition, when I turn on the headlights the front right led strip comes on for two seconds so I know that it’s not dead.

I am crossing my fingers that purchasing a new rear taillight will solve both problems. It was not a planned mod but I purchased the DBS style rear brake lights and 3rd brake light from RSCTuning today and they shipped overnight it to my office. A Big Shout Out to Hershel @ RSC for fantastic client service!!!!!!! I will update my post with install pics and let you know if my problems are over.

If you have bought the clear dbs style rear lights you will (I think) need to get your dealer to re program them as they will not work, at least that was what I was told when I had mine changed

Another urban legend, they will fit and they will work, what they won't do if fitted to an earlier car is warn you if the lamp fails unless reflashed with the later software, technically led lamps should have this feature if fitted to a car being used in the uk not sure on legislation in other countries,
