Just had a quick silver fitted but engine management lights have come on.Does anyone know if this will correct itself or is it back to dealers?
Thanx in anticipation.

dealer will have to reset it ...it may happen again...a downside of aftermarket exhausts and an overly sensitive emissions system frown

Hi Gary who fitted the exhaust, if the vacuum pipes have not been correctly capped this can cause this issue, can you hear the pump running continually it is located near the drivers side rear wheel and will be heard buzzing when the car is running,

Secondly when a sports exhaust is fitted a reset of he engine management system should be carried out so that new values are learnt so the light does not come on, if not the engine management system can see a difference from old data and as has happened to yours most likely think something is wrong,

you can run the car and in most cases it will reset itself as long as the car is driving fine you can try this, can take around drive cycles which means the car going from cold to normal operating temperature,

Hi Rick,Thanks for the info m8.I have driven it a bit over the weekend but with no joy, think its back to jct. Strangely enough the lights came on when i got in it on the forecourt so they reset them and said it should be ok now.
Thanks once again for your guidance.
