Hi gene genie, I have noticed from your previous posts they are mainly dealer related, I have my own recommendations as to the quality of service provided by the dealer network (and by this comment does not mean that any other dealer is either sub standard or less likely to provide an excellent service)also this recommendation is only been provided by the owners comments and the way they have been looked after, currently HWM, Stratton's and Jct600, this has been across all departments sales, service, parts, and warranty issues, and which i actively recommend as not everyone wants to use an independent and if they do then they need someone who will deal with there warranty issues not only that be able to talk to someone about any concerns or issues without being sold too or dismissed as that is how they are,

obviously from your comments stratstone wilmslow have provided you with excellent service which should be commended, I am always interested in customer feedback, and adding recommendations, is it across all departments or just service, please pm me with there contact details so that they can be passed on,

Human nature is such that grievances are aired more readily than positive comments which is a shame and the internet with the freedom of information can be brutal, This is usually based on an interaction with a particular individual and as such reflects on the whole company which may not be respective of the everybody else within that company,

The point being good service should be passed on, and the individual singled out named and praised

Statstone Wilmslow have always had "cut price servicing" but you do have to ask for it......my last service there was reduced by £250 labour and a further £265 for suppling my own oil (which cost me £69)Dealers are well aware of high quality independants such as Rick at DMS and are happy to reduce their prices to compete

On the same issue my wife's BMW X3 was serviced yesterday.....quote on the phone was £325.00 for an oil service and brake fluid change.....I supplied my own mobil 1 oil(cost £35 from Costco) and managed to reduce the cost to £134 from the dealer.
