Want to see the new Rapide?
Discussion
The Aston Rapide has certainly received a mixed reaction on PH, and so when we heard that office space sharers What Car? were hosting a preview of the new car, we asked if a few PHers could come along, and fortunately they said yes.
The preview is taking place from 9-11am on Monday the 18 January, at Aston’s HQ in Warwickshire. What Car? journalists will be asking readers for their views on the car’s design, ergonomics and specification – the comments will be published in What Car? magazine, along with photos of the readers with the car. Readers will also be asked to speak briefly on camera for footage at Whatcar.com. (Please note that this is a static viewing of the car – it won’t be possible to drive it at this event.)
There are just six places available on the event, so you will have to act fast to be in with a chance of getting a space as this is a strictly invite only event. Simply email readertestteam@haynet.com by 10am tomorrow (Tuesday 12 January) and include the following info: your mobile number, what car you currently drive, where you’ll be travelling from on the day, and a few lines on why you’re interested in seeing the new Rapide up close.
The What Car? team will get in touch later tomorrow if your application has been successful, along with further information about the event.
Good luck, and thanks to What Car.

Thanks to the team at What Car? and the fantastic hospitality from Aston Martin, I had a great morning poring over the Rapide.
It was good to meet all you other gents as well. Well done Garlick and PH for passing the opportunity our way. Our impressions of the car, mug shots and video interviews will be appearing in What Car? magazine and on whatcar.com soon.

WHATCAR reader survey has now been posted to their site. Interesting to have such a mixed review of the car and very strange seeing oneself on the screen!
