To remove an Aston martin badge from the bonnet of a vantage v8 that is not loose without damaging the bodywork at all. Obviously without using the proper tools ?

Please post comments then I will give my story and the name of the supercar hire garage that I believe has conned me.

Thanks.

We use a hot air gun warm the badge up and using plastic tools to lift they come off quite easy with no damage to paint,

I removed my Vantage badge quite easily. It took less than 2 minutes. I first heated the badge up with my wife's hair dryer and then used dental floss in between the paint and the black sticker. A little Goo Gone took care of any residual residue. I much prefer the clean, unmarked look.

He means the badge which reads Vantage on the rear.
