After a shade over 3 months of ownership, I'm still having trouble resetting the current average speed whilst keeping the overall average speed. In the handbook it talks about holding in the button for either 3 or 5 seconds before release. Whichever I do, I still reset both T1 and T2, I just have not go the knack, any tips would be appreciated, thanks in advance..confused

I just press and hold the T1/T2 button for a few seconds and whichever odometer reading is showing gets reset. Are you perhaps resetting all the computer totals ?

I think I must be doing a complete reset as I cannot seem to reset one or the other, they both reset. What's the secret to doing it correctly?

I'm not sure what I can add - I press and hold the button, the counter resets.

Are you using the T1/T2 button on the dash, not the Trip button on the stalk ?
