Fuse 22 removal tool
Discussion
I have sourced a safe proper tool that will help with the safe removal and refitting of blade fuses, as myself and Kay are suffering with an acute attack of Christmas spirit, We are going to give away 100 to any Aston owner who wants one, I will also include the info on how to find and remove fuse 22,
Just pm your address and we will do the rest, no marketing material, you will not be added to any email database, no catch, completely free,
We expect to receive stock end of next week (11,12,2009), Why are we giving them away, because the thought of people using metal objects in a fuse box fills me with dread, if dropped could cause serious damage secondly because of the kindness of so many owners on this forum, we had a really special open day that made so many disadvantaged children
smile, also to all the customers who have shown us so much support, just a little way of saying thanks,
The tool does not just have to be used for fuse 22 it can be used on any blade fuse, even if it is not in an Aston
Merry Christmas to all from Rick and Kay,

I used a flat blade screwdriver on mine, pivoted on fuse 21.just popped right out!
That will work, and as you were obviously careful you didn't short anything out, Marsellus that is not a dig, and it worked for you but i will never recommend using a metallic item in a fuse box, a slip or drop can or will damage electrical components, or in it's worst form an electrical fire, unlikely but possible, please safety first, the facts are you do lose some low end torque, not enough to notice, the beautiful sound that starts at over 3000 rpm, will come in straight after tick over, the emissions warning message is not triggered, but a code is stored in the ecu, decorking is the best permanent method of disconnecting the valves, but for choice as to have the valves open or not the easiest is removing and refitting fuse 22 as required,
here is a link with more info also from this it shows how and where to remove fuse 22
