Assume it's a roadster or you wouldn't have the problem. Just looked in the manual and I'm afraid there's no indication of how to get into the boot if the release fails. Looks like a dealer job. Sorry.

Is the battery flat? If not have you pressed the battery cut out by mistake? If you can't start the car try checking out behind the drivers seat (right side UK!) at the bottom of the rear panel is a small hole push finger in and there is small button which resets the battery cut out.

Nope the battery is fine.
Got out after a drive back to the ofice, went to open it and nothing.
Started her up and tried the interior boot button nothing.

Assume the double click on the boot symbol on the fob isn't working either? Faulty fuse? On mine (a 4.7 roadster, so I don't know if they're the same) it's fuse F46 in the cabin, one of two adjacent 5A fuses.

This is what i was thinking however could not get the manual to source the fuse location.
Where abouts is the cabin fuse box?

Thanks in advance!

Passenger side under the dash. Can't say where exactly, I'm only going by the diagram in the manual. (Sorry about the delay, internet drop, quite common here in France!)

Went out there this morning opened the boot, all fine.
Tried again and all is good, then........
Got in to drive away and the boot opened, there i was thinking i must of pressed the internal boot release by accident. Jumped out shut it again and drove off, next thing boot open appears on the dash, whilst going around 30mph down the road!

Stopped off at the office and the lock release just seems to be clicking away, not great now i have to go up to central London and need to take some expensive kit in the boot!!!
Has anyone had this before?

Unable to get to a dealer today and no doubt they will be unable to see me until end of the week.
Anyone think of any options (No garage BTW)???

There's a manual release in the boot itself. I reckon you'd be able to drop the parcel shelf, reach it and pull it (it's the luminous handle near the emergency triangle).

The reset button's in the boot, near the tyre foam/compressor. I believe you just push it. Leave it for a bit. Push it again to switch back on.

Then you have to reset everything (radio, seats etc).

btw, the emergency release handle is attached to the bootlid itself, but will be near the emergency triangle when the boot's closed smile
