Aston Martin Park Lane

Not often in the Smoke these days so I took the opportunity of walking up past the AM showroom yesterday evening. I was astonished by the fantastic paint finishes on the cars on display. This is not something you pick up on photographs, and it is easy to underestimate them until you have seen them.

There was a beautiful DB9 in Pentland Green, which was a stunning metallic blue-green which changed shade from one to the other dependent on angle and light. Like a TVR with Spectraflare only more subtle. There was a V8 Roadster which naturally looked pretty damn good in dark met blue.

The was also a DBS in Storm Black, which is a metallic black with flecks of red. Sounds ghastly? Wait till you see it in the light. You will want to lick it.

Just to top things off, saw a DBS Volante outside Euston Station about 9.25, in Quantum Silver. Yes, it does look better than Meteorite, and yes the car looks like sex on wheels. If it belongs to anyone on here, I can only say, Respect, brother.
