....minus 14. The car arrives on the 20th. Or I pick it up on the 20th as on visiting the dealer today to drop numberplates and V750 in I discovered that it arrived today. I decided not to get too close and inspect it as I want my first real glimpse once she has had the full treatment and I arrive back from next weeks trip away and see it in its full glory. I can't tell you how difficult it was not to get up close and personal.
Waited and waited for the Noble as did everyone else. I was one of the lucky ones to be invited to the launch but even though we were all expecting an increase over the original estimates of £75K, most predicting £100k (I even allowed £125K in my mind and had an open cheque book on the day) I knew as soon as I saw the car that the asking price would be higher. However 'from £200k' is just not realisitic for a car that may prove to be a great car but I was not prepared to invest in a 'may be' for my main car. Especially when there are great cars around like the V12V, the new ferrari and the new McClaren. I can't wait for its arrival. Colour chosen eventually was Magma Red - I think it looks fantastic.
Hi WantanewV12,
I just made a 300 mile roundtrip from London to Norfolk today for a shoot and I can tell you that the V12 is THE business. You will not regret. I would recommend that you put some winter tires on as in the freezing conditions that we had yesterday night the stickiness of the Pirellis Corsas is not magnificent as the rear wheels are fighting for traction every time you exit a round about - but it is great fun. My car has now passed the 1000 miles so I can start giving it some beans.

It's great to hear the fun you're having - I am really looking forward to the same. I raised the question of tyres before and not sure if new wheels are required as well (it's what the dealer originally told me although they have gone back to check as it is the first time that they have been asked). Did you get tyres through your dealer, what is the spec, how much are they and did you need new wheels ? I'm not sure in the real world that the V12V is That much better than the V8V. As such, I volunteer to swap cars with you for a year or so, just to confirm my thoughts. All in the interests of science you understand.
Uhhh Thanks Tonto. You know I was thinking just the same thing. Would I need to pay for the service ?I'm not sure in the real world that the V12V is That much better than the V8V. Hmm i take it you were out in the V12 on Sunday then?
I was coming down the Petersham road in my V8 as you pulled out in front of me.
I had to follow you up to the hill/park just to hear the roar of that exhaust.
Ended up in traffic because of you!!!
Very Very Very nice car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How funny. Small world as I do remember seeing you behind me when I turned into Petersham Rd and fighting for traction to stay ahead.
Just had the winter wheels and tires fitted and despite not having driven the car yet they look cool so will report back tomorrow and add a picture

Traction looked fine as you pulled out.
I bet 20mph in the park killed you!
Enjoy
Winter wheels and tyres look and work fine. Much better traction in the wet and much lighter steering as well. Would rather save the 4k on the Bang & Olufsen sound upgrade and buy this set of wheels and tyres for the winter. Got to be a better choice.

Congratulations on getting your new V12V. I know when I was on holiday and waiting for mine, I was biting the back of my hands off. You also might want to know that in the latest Octane, the V12V has been selected as the car of the decade!! and that the car pictured is in red - I assume the magma red that you have ordered.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
