HTC Hero Bluetooth works!

Hi all,

Just thought I'd like to pass on that my new phone (HTC Hero) plays well with my '07 V8V in the bluetooth dept. The voice control works too which is a bonus.

The previous iphone worked as well (sometimes) but not as reliably.

Including going thru the phone book? I only ask because thats the phone I want next (my Samsung does ntoallow phone book access).

well glad to hear yours does, but then the Hero runs Google Android not WM6.1. My HTC Touch Pro fails miserably to work with my MY09 4.7 V8 Coupe. It syncs but constantly drops the connection again after anywhere from 2-20mins of being connected. A typical short call will usually result in it loosing the pairing 2 or 3 times during the call - very frustrating. Taken it back to the dealer and they basically blamed it on the phone, which is odd the bluetooth stack is basically as supplied by windows mobile 6.1, not specific to the phone hardware!
