Wind Noise

Hi Guys

I have noticed increased wind noise when driving, on the passenger side it sounds like the door pillar seal is leaking and a little on driver side? Anyone else? Easy to fix?

think i may have your answer.after i have had the windows down and thenpushed both door window buttons to shut the windows i have noticed something strange.the drivers side window is fully up but the passenger side is only up to the point where the window drops to when you open the door.this happens intermittently but habitually i now, having put the windows up,push the passenger side once more to get it up that last 1/4 inch.

i only discovered this due to an increase in passenger side wind noise.

If it's and 07my onward, check the exterior door handle isn't sticking out a bit as this holds the glass down slightly if it is. Other than that the glass may have moved and need some adjustment.

I thought it was because the windows need re-setting due to a possible loss of battery power. see link

Nope not the door or the windows which are both fine (I did reset the windows just to be sure) Sounds like a leak near the door pillar to me. Will have to take Rick out for a drive in it.

i have this fault, spoke to the dealer about a year ago and got the brush off, went back this week for a number of different things and discussed this again i now find that it is a know fault.

it comes from a rubber seal on the door mirror, it needs replacing. i looked at it and you can see some kind on indentation on the glass-to-front-pillar rubber seal.

Yes it sounds around that area on both sides although the passenger side is noisier! Is it the chassis seal they change or the seal attached to the door?
