Hi there, Whilst discussing replacing her car my other half announced today that she 'rather liked' the DB9. Cutting to the chase, this basically means, 'I want one'. As Porsche and latterly Ferrari is my thing I'm coming at this completely cold. I could do with a conversation with someone who specialises in these, just to get the low-down. Could anyone recommend someone in the Midlands, I'm based in Shrewsbury. Many thanks.

Thank you for your help guys. And a special thank you to Mr Gould for taking time out of his busy day to respond to what I thought was a particularly reasonable question; asking those who know much more than me for a recommendation. There are clearly issues there which are none of my business. Coincidently Mr Gould is advertising a car which is the exact age and spec that I'd be interested in, but seeing as he was so rude...!Kindest regards to you all.

Oh, have a look aty the other thread on here called "I might need a favour"

Its not strictly for people wanting to look, but it wont hurt if you have a look around/talk to owners/ talk to Rick on that day.

There's also a DB9/V8V buying guide in Autocar from 2008 which features at Rick's place.

He did apologise.

And he did have a point wink Teach a man to fish and all that...

Rick's your man btw, and as mentioned above there'll be lots of people meeting up in a week or two at his place.
