Thats done well.......the panel fit looks good......But to call it an Aston is wrong.

I saw the coupe version http://www.carkitinc.com/carkit2.php?id=3
And IMO looks better but I never in a million years call it a replica and to BADGE it up as an Aston is a big no no.

A true replica has to be just that, use the proper lights not something from bunch of American cars which look similar!

I would lose the grille (different shape) lose the wing vents, then show it as a bespoke body conversion and give no inference to Jag or Aston

Just my 2 cents

It's brilliant isn't it. It looks like one of those hideous birthday badges you get free with kids cards.

I just don't get replicas, I really don't. For a start it's a fake so you either tell everyone it's a fake at which point all your friends and anyone who knows you now thinks your really uncool, or you lie and says it's real at which point someone know knows their cars will be point out that Aston Martin didn't actually make a Vanquish convertible, nor do they make their steering wheel badges out of foam and you will then look like a complete looser.

Another thing, what's wrong with a Jag? I would never think a Jag was a bad car, but if I saw some driving that thing it would just scream to me "I want EVERYONE to think I'm very successful and Rich... but sadly I'm not"

Or, if someone really knows their cars, they will know that they did make a Vanquish Convertible wink

Google 'Zagato Vanquish' smile

Well, you are both right and both wrong.

Aston did NOT make a Vanquish convertible, Zagato did. And actually, it isn't even a convertible, having no erectable top. It would more appropriately be called an open two seater like early Jaguar XK120s.

Interestingly enough, I saw this car a couple months ago, in person. It was for sale at $650K, which doesn't seem too bad for a one and only (at least I didn't think so).
