So so many people to thank.

Firstly to Rick at Derby Motors for opening on a Saturday to do the conversion on my rear lights.
He was so meticulous and I am really pleased with the result .Rick you are a star.
Next to oblio who although unable to attend, sent me a great route to follow and was instrumental in getting this day organised.
Great thanks to a good friend martvr on here who collected us from our hotel in his Caterham and led the procession of Astons all day, knowing where the likely cameras were made it great for the occasional spirited burst. Bank Holiday traffic and drizzle kept the convoy mostly well behaved, but what a beautiful scenic drive with plenty of attention through the towns.
Thanks to the Cotswolds TVR region for letting us muscle in on their meet. Lovely bunch and lovely cars. It was great to catch up with some old friends and meet new ones.
Next a huge thanks to Melvyn the owner of Legends, who opened up on the Sunday just for us to view his collection of beautiful racing and classic cars. Sadly we missed the Speed 12 by a week but his other cars sure made up for it.
Although he wont read this I should thank the owner of the Tea Shoppe in Broadway who managed to accommodate about 20 of us on a busy Bank Holiday Sunday for a classic cream tea. Lurvely.
Lastly but not least, thanks to all of you who turned up to make this such a great day. I was worried I might have been Billy No Mates so it was fantastic to see the Astons parked up waiting when I arrived.( Except Soul Reaver who was a character all day long. Only he could stop at a garage then ten miles down the road ring me and ask us to stop the convoy for petrol, nutter, in a nice way ) What a great bunch of people, beautiful cars. I hope we can meet up and do this again some day.
Any excuse for a drive.
So big thanks to all.

Thanks for arranging things Di.....was great to meet up! Nothing anyone can do about the weather but it didn't detract from a great day out. Going through Burford high street, the look on the Japanese tourists' face was a picture.....Nikki didn't know whether to wave or bow in response to their excitement
Would be good to do it again soon!
Steve & Nikki
p.s. Mark, I do hope that you're not neglecting your better half today but your car did look exceptionally dirty when we left

Di - great looking rear end, am thinking about doing the same, what was the cost out of interest?
