Humor me. WTH does "a wrapping DB9" mean? What's going on in the photo? I'm stupid and I don't get it. But I do like the later photo with the hood stripe and lip - very sinister and purposeful looking.

Wrapping refers to the fact that the car has been wrapped in matt black vinyl. It's better than re-painting as it can be removed at any time and actually protects the paintwork underneath. Also, you can have a really unusual colour scheme and it will not damage your re-sale value!!!!

Would be interested to know how much and who carried out the work for you as well, really wanted a white DB9 but thought it would be to faddy and could hit resale, got black with the thought of sticking a white wrap on her till I get bored with it.

I like the stripe and the mat black.. (we just did a 350z roof clear over mat to get satin ) and the reg no is kinda cool too.
I wrapped the chrome boot stripe on my vanquish to have the reflecta type effect between the tail lights, and masked the lights to look like 1-77 shape,
looking at getting chrome wrapping or plastic chroming to do headlight podso it matches indicatoe/fog light.

oh and wrapping also protects from paint stripper atacks,

Sorry to bother again, but I'm really curious about the Prodrive DB9 S. I only know about the racing DB9's and the rally V8 Vantages they have done (and of course the kit for the V8 Vantage).
What exactly do they do on DB9's??

do you have any pics of the 350z? i'm trying to convince SWMBO to have something done with hers.... but she wants to see pics of somethings similar before i have her wrapped round my little finger.....

no scalpels involved with the fitting?? Ive not seen anyone wrap a car without cutting.
AM paint is notoriously soft, the adhesive in the wrap may leave marks after a while, patches that look like water marks - only theyre not!
