DB9 Got one at last
Discussion
After a 4 months of active searching, to many years of active dreaming a few let downs, a change of mind and a run in with a to good to be true car I have at last found THE ONE. Popped up on the adds, looked good, straight on phone, seen it, fell in love and paid my money.

i won't hold my breath lol, as most cars I only see once a year unless they are looking for upgrades or a good cup of tea, as Angel would say astonitis will set in and you get stuck with a permanent grin, sometimes I get the feeling that the trip up to Derby is just an excuse to get out for a good drive, On a serious note thats a great choice love the interior, and i am sure you will have hours of happy motoring,
That is one good looking car.
All DB9's are beautiful, but the facelift grille and the Sport Pack with the 5 spoke wheels look the total business. Somehow the whole thing is just that bit more feline.
Congratulations.
PS You weren't in Glasgow yesterday by any chance and parked on West George Street? My head just about unscrewed as I went past. Fabulous.

Picked up the car on Thursday, drove her home from Tom Hartley in Birmingham. Very good service in this place and just visiting is an experience. This guy sells some serious bits of metal. Got my bum in a new Veyron (not impressed for 1.2 million), played around with a 599 huge car, drooled over a new California (possible next purchase as loved it), had goose bumps and a shiver down my spine though when he took me to the workshop and puled the cover off an F40 that was being prepped to send to a customer in OZ, got a little seat in this god of a car, all I can say is incredible.
lots off other gorgeous metal but in the end only had eyes for the girl I was about to drive out of the showroom and all the way back to Scotland. Had a permanent fixed grin all the way and thanks to the guy in the 360 that I tailed up with for some of the way, what a blast we had up the M6.
Have hardly taken my but out of the seat since Thursday. Despite being totally knackered I was up at 6 am friday morning and out polishing the car at 7.00. Bit sad but she had got a little dirty on the way up the road and just had to clean her. Have now run out of people to visit but have assumed a seat in the lounge that looks out at the car and just keep gawping at her.
Little hiccup on the friday morning when the DSC light decided to light up and an error reported that it was disabled and required servicing. quick call to Murray Aston in Edinburgh, service manager told me to pop through whenever and they would fix it while I was having a coffee, any excuse so jumped in and off to Edinburgh, service was excellent. Got a tour of the workshop, chatted to the mechanics while mine was getting the sensor sorted, drooled over a lovely DB4 and had a shot in the DBS. Nothing was to much trouble, commented about a bit of moisture building inside headlights and gel packs where promptly fitted.
On my way after a couple of happy hours and off into Edinburgh for some lunch and then back home. Fixed grin has set in every time i sit in the car and it turn heads on every street, feeling very self conscious though, will take a little getting used to.
Well I feel the need to go to the garage, not worked out what for yet but will decide on route.

In answer to last question, she is a 08 facelift, sportpack model all the extras (not many available really) and came in at 90k with 5k on the clock and as new. Took me ages to find her and to honest if I was buying new this is exactly what I would spec.
