morning chaps, just pondering but i`ve had 2x vanquish rear tyres sitting in my garage brand new doing nothing. when i had my db7 it had the vanquish 20 inch rims on it and the guy i bought the car from gave me the tyres as part of the deal.didn`t keep the car long enough to need them and they were at the back of my mind when i chopped in for a v8v so are currently still sitting there. any use to anyone?

Not related to your query but do you have any pics of the DB7 with the 20"s on? Mine is running the correct Aston 19" DB7 wheels but I am not that impressed with the design, though they are 'fine'. Are Vanquish wheels a direct bolt on replacement? And what profile would tyres be?

If you don't mind, thanks!

i`ll see if i can scan some photos then stick them up.the wheels were a direct swap i believe(i got the car with them already on) and totally improved the look.much more menace to it.

froggie...will post up tyre sizes tonight when i get home from work. i had a tuscan s mk2(i assume thats the one you mean???) and it was fun when not in the shop.i must admit i would have come from tvr to aston quicker if stratstones had been more willing to let me trade in my tuscan mk1.as for what`s next i can`t really see anything elsewhere i would want.as technically proficient as ferrari cars are i find them quite ugly with a really negative image(too "medallion man" for me!).the closest i have come to looking elsewhere is a lambo gallardo but still perhaps a little too "look at me i drive a lamborghini".i think there are plenty of trade up opportunities within aston.i could chop my v8v for the new 4.7 but i suspect i will go to a db9 sportpack.who knows, if i come into some extra cash even a v12v or dbs!! as of now aston gives me everything i want out of a car so can`t really see a need to come away from the marque just yet.
