DOH!! Just spent £350 on having a switch fitted under the dash!
It is great being able to switch between quiet and earthquake mode
Can anyone shed some more light on Ricks ECU map please?
I'm super keen to get an N400 style map, but am not bothered about the new plenum, exhaust or airboxes.
All I really want is the tweeked throttle response as the current "laggy" setup is the cars only real let down for me.

I'll second the POOR throttle response! i was recently looking at some you tube clips and those ferrari v8's rev like a bloody ducatti! why does the vantage have such a poor rev response, it sounds totally amazing, but why so ASTHMATIC ??
does the power pack upgrade help in this respect? I too would be interested in an ecu upgrade if it improves the laggy throttle response, so maybe my heel n toe might sound a lil better!

Here's something we use for Corvette Z06's, which have the same type exhaust bypass system as AM. I see no reason that you couldn't use it on the AM range. I'm going to buy one and give it a try. Here's a link.

...Sounds bettter too!!!
Which one?A flat plane will rev much more freely as there's less rotational mass. This also allows it to rev higher (typically). And in a sportscar, high revs/power are more important than low end torque and subjective measures such as smoothness.
As for sound....I love the way my V8V sounds. But I'd be very, very hard pushed to say it was better than my old 355 on full song. That car could make the hairs on my neck stand on end! Truly epic.
