As we all have nice cars and I assume we all take great care of them would anyone be up for meeting up and letting each other take a test drive in each others cars - not just AM's but Ferraris, Lambos, Astons etc...I think this would be a great way to feel what other makes have to offer...I know I'd be happy to let a Ferrari driver test drive my car and I'd hope visa versa...sometimes at dealers you never really feel comfortable but I think with fellow PH members it could be a lot more comfortable...

I'd be pretty happy. I'd like to drive a 360/430/997 GT3/R8/Gallardo.

Pretty tricky taking test drives in them all, but then I had planned on either joining Ecurie 25 for 6 months or doing a couple of supercar driving days to have a go in them all.

Although I'll most likely just end up sticking to the current method of "Buy it and if you don't like it, sell it!"

Good idea. Obviously already do this a fair bit with mates. Also, have you considered forming a syndicate - which is how many private light aircraft are bought. Four of us formed one a while back each chucked in £50k originally (although we keep adding!) and now own some stonking cars between us, as well as our own cars.

The sydicate sounds great. How does it work...? What happens if someone is more reckless than the others?! ...and what cars to you have?

Sorry, genuinely not being unsociable but agreed with partners that we don't discuss details of our cars here. All set up legally through lawyer plus and we know trust each other's driving etc., so no probs there. As I say it's been commonplace in the plane world for years and works well for us.
